Author Biography

Lauren Petrillo, University of Missouri - Kansas City

Lauren Petrillo will graduate from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in May 2006 with a B.A. degree in English Language and Literature and a minor in History. In April 2004, she presented her work on the diary of Nancy Holmes Corse to Missouri legislators during Undergraduate Research Day at the State Capitol. She is currently working on a project focusing on the Rhetoric and Composition of nineteenth-century female seminary students in Clay County, Missouri.
